Entertainment Solutions West, Inc. specializes in providing music and entertainment for conventions, corporate and private parties.

Bernie Kaye, bandleader, entertainer and producer is president of this organization. He has been in this particular phase of the entertainment business for over 30 years. Prior to that time he worked his act as a night club entertainer singing in night spots throughout the country. He did some radio and T.V. work on the west coast and then proceeded to New York City where he went into the special event portion of show business.

In 1977, Bernie packed up and moved to San Diego. In 1978, he started a company called The Music People. In 1985 Flip Side D.J.’s was organized and added to the company. Since that time these companies have become one of the most respected independent providers of music and entertainment in the special event industry.

In 1998 the name of the business was changed to Entertainment Solutions West, Inc.. This more fully describes the total entertainment service organization that it is. He also has a satellite office in Florida.

Bernie is the winner of four of the most prestigious awards in the San Diego hospitality industry. The Gold Key Award for 1985. The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, Affiliate Member of the Year Award in 1988/89. The first ever Lifetime Achievement Award by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International in November of 2002 and the award as associate Member of the Year from the San Diego Society of Association Executives in December of 2002.
The June Bowernan Spirit of N.A.C.E. Award for 2007.

Recognized as a knowledgeable professional by his peers he is known for his honesty, integrity and ethics. Many people in the Hospitality and special event industry seek him out for advice.
